Event Rules:
1. The tournament will be a "Shamble" format. Each player tees off from the tee selected when they joined the CGA. The team then selects the best tee ball. From that point on everyone plays their own ball into the hole.
No gimmes - putt them out.
2. Teams will be determined by Handicap with A - B - C - D players.
3. Players are not allowed to use their putters. Any other club is acceptable.
4. Handicaps will be calculated at 70%.
5. After a double bogey you can pick-up to help the pace of play.
6. The team score will be the total of the 2 lowest net scores on each hole. The team with the lowest total score for the 18 holes is the winner.
7. In the event of a tie, starting at the 18th hole, the team with the lowest net score the last three holes wins.
In the event of a tie on the last three holes, we continune backwards three holes at a time until a team wins.
Course Rules:
1. Outside tree lines, play it where it lies or take a drop 2 club lengths inside tree line and take a penalty stroke.
2. IF OB, drop no more than 2 club lengths with one stroke penalty on line where ball entered OB, not fairway.
3. Ball may be moved from bare areas, ground under repair and saturated areas in fairway 2 club lengths, no closer to the pin.
4. Lift, clean and place inside tree lines.
5. Bunkers- play it as it lies. If ball is an area that has not been raked, rake and replace ball.
6. Putting - Putt the ball out.
Prizes and Points:
1st Place Team: $TBD; Points - 10 per player
2nd Place Team: $TBD; Points - 8 per player
3rd Place Team: $TBD; Points - 6 per player
4th Place Team: $TBD; Points - 4 per player
All players receive 2 participation points for playing.
